Si apre ufficialmente la registrazione per incontri e portfolio review alla Bologna Children’s Bookfair. Qui di seguito ecco come fare per iscriversi, in pochi semplici passaggi. Specifichiamo che questo è L’UNICO modo di registrarsi.

1 – SCOPRI SE SIAMO ADATTI A TE: dai un’occhiata al nostro catalogo, guarda le nostre pubblicazioni e i dettagli su cosa facciamo e cosa cerchiamo sul nostro sito www.sabireditore.it

2 – SUL SERIO, CONTROLLA BENE: il tempo alla BCBF è prezioso per tutti, per l’editore ma anche per chi illustra. Riuscirai a proporti solo per un numero limitato di portfolio review. Assicurati per quanto possibile che il tuo stile possa interessare a chi contatterai. Lo spazio ad autor* sarà molto ridotto. In fiera non c’è il tempo e l’attenzione per valutare efficacemente un testo. Come ormai sapete, però, anche se ci mettiamo del tempo prima o poi rispondiamo a tutti, quindi potete continuare a inviare le proposte di testi via mail approdi@sabireditore.it.

3 – FACCI SAPERE CHI SEI: invia ad approdi@sabireditore.it il tuo progetto, se ne hai già uno completo, oppure il tuo portfolio. La cosa migliore è un pdf, non troppo pesante. Evita cartelle compresse molto grandi e link a instagram o altri siti esterni. Archiviare pdf è molto più semplice e ci permetterà di conservare il tuo lavoro nel tempo per valutare future collaborazioni, qualora dovesse arrivare la storia giusta per il tuo stile.

4 – TROVIAMO IL MOMENTO PER INCONTRARCI: se riteniamo la tua proposta potenzialmente interessante e in linea con Sabìr, ti invieremo il link al nostro sistema di prenotazione incontri, in cui potrai scegliere l’orario più adatto a te tra quelli ancora disponibili. Se per qualsiasi motivo decidi di cancellare l’incontro, ti preghiamo di farlo il prima possibile per lasciare spazio ai tuoi colleghi.

FAI ATTENZIONE A QUESTE POCHE MA IMPORTANTI INFORMAZIONI

Le proposte verranno valutate in rigoroso ordine di arrivo.
Gli slot disponibili per portfolio review sono di 10 minuti l’uno. Come diciamo sempre, non portare mille cose, portane una in cui credi e che, soprattutto, sia diversa e innovativa. La cosa che amiamo di più è rimanere sorpresi.
La nostra politica è quella di cercare di rispondere sempre a tutti, ma purtroppo non sempre è possibile, soprattutto quando bisogna rispondere a molte persone molto in fretta. Se non ricevi risposta con il link al calendario prenotazioni, è perché quello che ci hai inviato pensiamo non sia adatto a noi.

Registration for meetings and portfolio reviews at the Bologna Children’s Bookfair officially opens. Below is how to register, in a few simple steps. We specify that this is THE ONLY way to register.

1 – DISCOVER IF WE ARE A FIT FOR YOU: take a look at our catalog, see our publications and details about what we do and what we are looking for on our website www.sabireditore.it

2 – SERIOUSLY, CHECK CAREFULLY: time at BCBF is precious for everyone, for the publisher but also for those who illustrate. You will only be able to propose yourself for a limited number of portfolio reviews. Make sure as much as possible that your style will appeal to those you contact. Time for authors (stories for picture books and novels) will be very limited. At the fair there isn’t the time and attention to effectively evaluate a text. However, even if it takes us some time, sooner or later we will respond to everyone, so you can continue to send text proposals via email to approdi@sabireditore.it.

3 – LET US KNOW WHO YOU ARE: send to approdi@sabireditore.it your project, if you already have a complete one, or your portfolio, or the text you want to submit to us (just one, the one you think is most in line with us. If it’s fiction, don’t forget the synopsis).

4 – LET’S FIND THE TIME TO MEET: If we find your proposal potentially interesting and in line with Sabìr, we will send you the link to our meeting booking system, where you can choose the most suitable time for you from those still available. If for any reason you decide to cancel the meeting, please do so as soon as possible to make room for your colleagues.

PAY ATTENTION TO THIS FEW BUT IMPORTANT PIECES OF INFORMATION

Proposals will be evaluated in strict order of arrival.
Slots available for portfolio reviews are 10 minutes each. As we always say, don’t bring a thousand things, bring one that you believe in and, most importantly, is different and innovative. The thing we love most is to be surprised.
Our policy is to always try to respond to everyone, but unfortunately that is not always possible, especially when you have to respond to a lot of people very quickly. If you do not receive a response with a link to the booking calendar, it is because what you sent us we think is not suitable for us.
